Lyndie Wright in conversation with Ronnie Le Drew and Linda Stanfield (part 1 of 3) #LATat55

To celebrate the theatre’s 55th birthday we’re sharing a story  or conversation every week for the next year. Expect tales from puppeteers, makers, staff members and brilliant people who have a long standing connection to Little Angel Theatre.

Here’s the first part of a brilliant, funny and insightful conversation between Lyndie Wright, Ronnie Le Drew  and Linda Stanfield.

Lyndie co-founded Little Angel Theatre in 1961 with her husband John Wright, the video is shot in her wonderfully creative workshop. Ronnie Le Drew’s involvement with the theatre began as a young man, starting as an apprentice before launching into his own highly successful career as a puppeteer and is now an Honorary Associate of the theatre, along with Lyndie. Linda Stanfield, began her journey with the Little Angel serving coffees for the sum of £1 per day and then went on to run the theatre with John.

Enjoy part 1! You can can share your stories and memories of Little Angel Theatre too, using the hashtag #LATat55 on Twitter.
